Implant Displacement

There is no real way to secure a breast implant in place once a doctor inserts it into its surgically prepared pocket. Implants may therefore displace upward, downward, outside, and inside their normal position. Anatomic, or teardrop shaped implants , may also rotate and lead to an abnormal breast shape.
